Flashlights: Flashlight Cases
June 23, 2008 1:49 pm Flashlights, Home & GardenFlashlight cases for every practical size are available from various flashlight manufacturers. Cases come in micro, small, medium and large sizes. Flashlight cases can allow you to carefully store and move your flashlights, while protecting them from outside conditions, which include weather as well as surrounding equipment. Some of the cases are designed for storing several items or tools in addition to your flashlights. Pelican, for example, has cases designed to carry flashlights and knives together in one place. There are also some cases designed to work as kits for tools or safety equipment.
Some flashlight cases are built air and water tight. Some materials used for this are space age resin and neoprene O-ring sealing. Many cases are also designed to be crush proof to keep the inside contents from being damaged in case of accidental drops and tumbles.
Some flashlight cases are also designed with foam padding inside to let the flashlights sit tightly and comfortably in place. There may be dividers in the padding to allow more than one flashlight or additional accessories and tools to also be stored in the same case. The materials used to make many of the cases are corrosion and weatherproof to guarantee a long survival and dependence.
Other Features of Innovative Flashlight Cases
Some cases include multiple locks and latches for extra security and protection of the contents. The sturdy locks help prevent unwanted entries into the cases, and also keep the cases from breaking open in case they are dropped or knocked around. The locks will vary depending on the size of the cases, as well as the manufacturers who make them.
